Hello my name is Cara. I am working full time, I have a four year old son and my partner is currently unemployed. They recently reassessed his entitlement and it is now down to 35euro per week. This is crippling us, we have submitted an appeal which i doubt we will be successful in overturning and now they come back and advise that they made an error and have been overpaying him for 5 months, ( he was receiving 145euro per week) and he owes them over 2000euro.

While the reduction to 35 euro was bad enough he now stands to receive no payments until such a time it is repaid or he finds employment and then he will still have to repay them! How can they get away with this? This is their administration error. We were completely unaware he was being overpaid and now we are heading for debt for their mistakes.

I have an apartment that I thought in the boom so it is serious negative equity and the mortgage is high. I do not live in this apartment have it rented out but the rent does not cover the mortgage so I am at a loss. It was suggested to me that I could organise a raffle and raffle it off. Get the permission from the Gardai and organise a raffle selling tickets for about €1k to €2k. Is this legal to do? I think it sounds like a great idea but wonder why other people in my situation haven't done the same. Can you advise if this is something that I can look into doing?

I have received a supplementary p45 for extra income received on august2011 in the period jan-mar2011 ,EMPLOYER HAVENT PAID THE TAX FOR SECONDARY p45 received. I have given all of my p60 for all years from 2007-2010 ,Please advise is it the payment assessment Based on p60 prior to disability or p45.
I am going to contact the revenue officials to give me the copy of certificate income levy for the extra payment received, Can you please advise am I entitle to send the p45 supplementary to my insurance company for reassessment, OR Shall I wait until end of this year , I don’t want to jeopardise the payment already receiving. I look forward your reply.

Hi,i got a mobile broadband on a 18 months contract from 3G about two weeks ago. In the first week i rang customer service 3 to 4 times because it wasnt working, the first 2 times we went trough alot of things trying to figure out the problem.
After a long and stressful week traying to sort it out i decided to cancel it because it wouldnt work.
The first time i called the place to cancel it the person that answer the phone didn't want to let me cancel l it at all, he kept telling to go trough the uninstall and install process yo try to sort it out, i explained to him that i was tired of it already that the mobile broadband wasn't working.
There is a long and stressful story that i still havent solved,i am waiting for the cancellation team to call me and its been about 3 days and i havent heard from them yet. I want to cancel it and i want to sue them for not solving a simple problem that is giving me a headache.
The question is, should they have solved my problem already? can i sue them?
Thank you
Regards
There's a 15 days trial for this product and its not working due to network coverage and i tried everything they asked me to. It worked in a different area about 5 to 10 klm from my house,i had full coverage there but in my area i had very week network coverage or no coverage at all. The don't want to cancel it i don't know why,it is stressing me out and need to get this situation resolved as soon as possible.
